ALLYSHIP WORKSHOPS FOR CULTURAL LEADERS

Co-created by Marc Bamuthi Joseph and SOZO founder Rika Iino, HEALING FORWARD™ is an allyship training program that undergirds Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Access initiatives by engaging cultural leaders to think structurally about equity. Utilizing our unique framework this program supports leaders and organizations in their journey toward an equitable future. Since our launch in June of 2021, HEALING FORWARD™ has impacted 70+ organizations of all sizes through retreats and workshops, with a cohort of 200+ leaders in arts & culture.

OUR APPROACH

Systemic change begins with cultural leaders asking catalytic questions, fostering meaningful conversations throughout their organizations, and activating their Theory of Change.

HEALING FORWARD™ engages C-suite executives, department heads, board of directors, civic leaders, and cultural entrepreneurs, via workshops and retreats.
